Civil Search Consultants was founded in 2017. We focus solely on recruiting professionals in the Civil Infrastructure space - Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors and CAD personnel. By focusing exclusively in this space, we are able to remain committed to the business goals of our clients while helping them tackle unique personnel challenges within the Civil industry.
Blake Pellerin
President & Principal Consultant
Blake started his recruiting career in 2011 and has been recruiting in the Civil Infrastructure space since 2013. Born and raised in Houston, Blake is a proud Texas A&M graduate. He and his wife, Sara, were married in 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, and have two boys for now. Outside of recruiting, Blake enjoys playing and watching rugby and is passionate about fostering the growth of the sport, especially across Houston and the State of Texas. He is regularly involved at Arrows Rugby Football Club, a Catholic community with the purpose of forming men in Christian virtue. Blake enjoys good beer, whether crafted locally or brewed by monks in monasteries across the world.
Michael Hsu
Recruiter
Michael graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019. After extensive job searching, he started a sales career in the construction industry. COVID caused a bit of derailment off that path in 2020 and Michael once again entered the job market. It was in that turbulent job climate that he gained an appreciation for recruiting and refocused his attention to that field and now finds great satisfaction in helping find opportunities for others. In his spare time, Michael enjoys expanding his knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisine; trying recipes using the most authentic ingredients and cooking methods is a fascination of his. Michael also enjoys a number of games, with his currently most played being League of Legends and Final Fantasy XIV.
Jeff Thigpen
Co-Founder
Jeff was a co-founder of Civil Search Consultants. In March of 2022, he joined Converge Resources as its President and is no longer active in the Civil Infrastructure space. If you are looking for IT and Automation professionals, Converge Resources is THE resource!
